Taro Masushio

Born in Japan, Taro Masushio is an artist based in New York City. He received his BA from UC
Berkeley and MFA from New York University and has taught at both institutions. He has held solo
exhibitions at Scheusal, Berlin (2025), Empty Gallery (2024, 2020) and Ulrik; New York (2023). He
has also exhibited at Bodenrader, 47 Canal, Capsule Shanghai, Immanence, Pacific Film Archive,
amongst others.
