Drawing Centre Diepenheim is the premier art venue for drawing in the Netherlands. Our aim is to stimulate the exchange of knowledge, experiences and opinions through the medium of drawing. We invite artists to create dynamic exhibitions, engage in immersive residencies and host inspiring activities in the lee of the countryside of Twente.
With the theme ‘The Unbalancing Act’ as a starting point Drawing Centre Diepenheim offers space to face the uncertain. Through our programme, we explore ways to discover fleeting moments of grip and control in periods of turmoil, driven by the belief that the very search for balance makes us (more) grounded.
The beautiful scenic surroundings of Diepenheim, the large exhibition building (285 m2), two residency studios (160 m2) and nine artists' gardens (12,000 m2) offer space for reflection, research and experimentation.
