Since the founding of the Kunststiftung Goch in 2009, based in the Ferdinand-Langengerg-Haus in the heart of the city of Goch, we have been able to offer scholarships for contemporary artists together with various partners. The scholarship is closely linked to the Museum Goch, where also the contact persons for the scholarship are located.
The town of Goch with around 35,000 inhabitants is located directly on the Dutch border. The area is very rural, there is a lot of nature and agriculture. The nearest major cities are Nijmegen on the Dutch side, Krefeld and Duisburg on the German side. Everything in the city can be easily reached on foot or by bike.
The living and working space is in a house with two floors. There is a shared garden and a large balcony on the first floor, where the bathroom and two other smaller rooms are situated. The sleeping room is on the second floor. On the ground floor is the kitchen and a large room that can be used for working, meeting and also for lectures and presentations. The house is suitable for individual scholarship holders as well as their partners and families.
Additional information
There have already been several scholarship holders who have come to Goch with their partners and children. We would like to be family-friendly as far as possible and support our scholarship holders individually to the best of our ability.
