Place of Residency
Kenneth’s work encircles research, object and installation, often exploring feelings of nostalgia and idealization for rural and withdrawn settings in Latin America, where he spent his childhood and early life.
In July 2021, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Art, Den Haag, from the department of interior architecture and furniture design. From 2014 to 2017, he studied industrial design at the University of Buenos Aires.
research, object, installation
Kenneth utilizes historical research and writing as an artistic method. He experiments with natural phenomena and elements, such as: water, wind, smoke, light, alongside other working materials like: hardwood, aluminum, ceramics, kite fabric, electrical components, etcetera.
Year of participation
During his residency at Greylight Projects, Kenneth will focus on water as a subject of research and material experimentation. He is particularly interested in the fountain as an object and the question: can a fountain be a cataract?
Greylight Projects’ location near the brunssummerheide, a natural reserve, may also serve the artist as an interesting field of research possibilities.
