Atelierhaus Eupen

Atelierhaus Eupen is a lively forum in which the promotion of creatives across all genres is regarded as a central task. We support East Belgian creatives and young artists by providing low-cost studios and competent accompaniment. Our focus lies on the professionalisation of cultural and creative professionals, centralized consulting, visibility of the scene and the development and creation of art in Eupen. The cooperation with partners from all over the Euregio as well as international art institutions are the key of our support programme that provides international artist residencies, innovative exchange projects and cross-border formats. Atelierhaus Eupen is intended as a place and starting point for a dialogue between the different forms of artistic expression.

Atelierhaus Eupen is designed as an open artists‘ house – an art laboratory and experimental space for artistc realizations. It contains six  studios as well as a shared kitchen, bathroom, workshop, garage and garden. Bus stop right in front of the door, parking right next door.

We celebrate diversity and have very consciously positioned ourselves without a programmatic focus in the BR project. By doing so, we want to ensure a restriction-free application of potential residency artists from the entire spectrum of contemporary art.

The studios are searched, found and furnished individually only after the scholarship holder has been announced, in order to meet the corresponding needs most precisely. The same goes for the accommodation options.
