QAIR – Quirin artist in residency, Willich

PROGRAMMATIC FOCUS

The programme supports artistic research addressing infrastructure spaces, land use, spatial regimes, and the entanglement of ecological, technological, and social processes. Emphasis is placed on site-sensitive approaches, fieldwork, and informal exchange. Residents develop independent projects and may engage, if desired, with a local network of people, sites, and research.

QAIR is open to artists of all genders, ages, and backgrounds. A conceptual rather than formal approach is encouraged, as well as an openness to dialogue and critical reflection on the conditions and meaning of contemporary art.
