Mönchengladbach provides the fellows with a studio and apartment and pays a living allowance. At the end of the scholarship, participating artists are expected to present the results of their scholarship period in the form of an exhibition, performance, film screening, reading or other forms. Additionally, a catalog will be published.

We provide the artist with a studio to work in and a flat and support him individually as needed
The artistic work doesn’t need to programmatically refer to the city of Mönchengladbach.
In addition to the 550 EURO per month, 9,000 Euros are available, which the artist can use as needed for material, an exhibition or a catalogue. We would like to be family-friendly as far as possible and support our scholarship holder to the best of our ability
