Naho works process-oriented, site-specific, often involving local people and the ‘more-than-human’ environment. Inspired by her findings, she invents false solutions, escape routes and substories. These translate into a variety of media and materials: from drawings, prints and websites to video works, installations and performances.

During her residency at )PFÖRTNERLOGE( Krefeld Naho will be working on ‘Soft Skills Krefeld’; a collaborative project about sharing creative processes and representing personal wishes for the future, which are manifested in unique fan scarves. She has been working on ‘Soft Skills’ in different formats and contexts since 2023 and will develop a new version for Krefeld and experiment with different textiles and techniques. Together with the residents of the city, which has a long history in textile production, she will research the past, speculate about possible futures and collect wishes that will be manifested in a collaborative textile work.
